Rhonda, It's Been A While.

On Saturday I went to Rhonda with David and our friend Jessi. Hadn't been in a long time and we had so much fun! Rhonda plays the best music of any party I know. True dat.

It's Been A While.

When I was in middle school I started playing the clarinet in the concert band as well as the jazz band and then when I went to high school I played it in the concert band and the marching band. I wasn't very good but I always had a ton of fun being surrounded by music (and other people who were very talented at their respective instruments). I've been thinking a lot lately about doing more performance art and exploring new mediums and areas of my creativity that have been brewing in my head. I grew up in Canada and lived in a little village in Victoria for a while but we would go downtown every once in a while and there were always buskers (street performers) performing on the Inner Harbor. I was always really intrigued by them and loved to watch people play musical instruments, sing, do magic, etc, etc, etc. I now want to be my own kind of busker and hopefully soon I will be playing clarinet on some random street corner. And maybe with some practice I'll be better than I used to be. Watch out for me!

Introducing prince puja...

I would like to formally introduce you all to my newest incarnation, prince puja. Another facet of the multi-dimensional being that I am, he is somewhat of a caricature. prince puja is another vehicle for me to explore this ever changing, endlessly adventurous thing we call life. Reaching for new levels of creativity, liberation, and freedom, I look forward to the ride that the prince will take me on. And as I learn through him, or rather myself (not to confuse you), I hope to share things with all of you (that's to everyone, if anyone, who is reading) that will inspire you to be as free as we are meant to be.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
