Tattoo Time.
Los Angeles, California. November 2012.
I hadn't gotten any tattoos in a minute(!) and was definitely overdue so a couple weeks ago I finally went to get a little guy. It's the Graphic Ganesh that I originally made a block print of and later got stickers! Now it's on my leg, too! Super excited about it. I also got a couple music notes added to my arm because I normally add one every year but have been lagging a bit.
Thanks to Matt at Broken Art Tattoo in Silverlake for the work!

Chai Time.
puja Palace. November 2012.
These are two of my favorite photos from the first roll of film (which was an expired roll of Kirkland from who knows when) from my new Nikkormat FTn that my uncle gave me! =D I've never used an SLR before and was planning to get one around Christmas and then he said he was getting rid of a couple cameras and that I could have them. Thank you Universe! So excited to play with this thing! (And the other two...an Olympus, which I just got a roll developed from as well, and a Yashica T2!)

Demarchelier Sighting.
Los Angeles, California. November 2012.
A couple weeks ago, on the release of puja zine vol i, I was picking up some jewelry from the casting house I work with downtown and when I was walking back to my car I saw a model sitting on a bright yellow taxi so I instinctively turned the other way to see who was taking her photo. I turn around and see this big crew and none other than Patrick Demarchelier!!! I totally freaked out for a minute and started walking back to my car because my meter was almost out of change and then realized I had to take a photo (HELLO!?!) so I crossed the street again and snapped a couple quick photos as he was giving some directions to the model/crew.
Possibly the most starstruck I've ever been.

puja zine vol i Release Party!
This photo is actually from another night at the same bar because somehow (?!?) I didn't get a photo of David at the party.
Los Angeles, California. November 2012.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to celebrate! And thank you to the beautiful trannies for performing! Can't wait for the next issue (and the next party!)! xo.
