BDAYPUJA.

This year for my birthday, David and I ventured out to Joshua Tree (or rather 29 Palms which is connected to Joshua Tree) to stay at the 29 Palms Inn. Found this place online and wasn't really sure what to expect but it was SO beautiful and the perfect birthday getaway. (Or any time for that matter. I can't wait to go back!) And we got to take Lydia (yay, dogs allowed!)! We only stayed for one night but it was a great trip! We just hung out and roamed around the grounds exploring. Had dinner at their cute little restaurant. And enjoyed our little sun patio.

Perfection...

We were told that this is the only inn in the desert that resides on a natural oasis (The Oasis of Mara).

Our cottage was called "Hyacinth" and it's the left side of that middle one. It was super cute!

Back home!

Then the next night I went to Mas Malo in downtown for dinner with some friends (and a couple cousins) and then  to karaoke afterwards in Little Tokyo. I had so much fun and am so grateful to everyone who came. Seriously one of the best birthdays!

Friday The 13th.

One month ago, I went with some friends to get $13 Friday the 13th tattoos! Haha. You have to choose pre-drawn images and they're all really silly/stupid. We hung out there for a good few hours waiting. I think there was 7 of us in our group and we all got something. It was fun and now I'll remember that day for life! =P

He's my little Friday the 13th jester to remind me never to take life too seriously.
